We prioritize the well-being and growth of our community members. We believe in giving them the first opportunities that contribute to their personal development. Their feedback, opinions, and thoughts hold great value to us.
To maintain strong connections with the community, we have been actively engaging in frequent meetings and discussions with the members of Mnarani, Kiriba, and Takaungu. This open communication has fostered a sense of cohesion and unity among us.
One of the ways we involve the community is through various programs including tree planting and employment options. Recently, community members have been working with us on a new soil regenerative technique. We are sharing valuable knowledge on tree planting, rewilding, and sustainable living practices so that they can implement these techniques themselves.
We have initiated a partial scholarship program aimed at financially challenged yet intelligent students from the community who aspire to join high schools. By offering educational opportunities, we aim to raise the overall quality of life for community members. We firmly believe that education plays a pivotal role in transforming society by nurturing individuals’ talents and capabilities.
The peaceful cohesion among us has made our area the best place to be in. Currently, community members are actively engaged in tree planting initiatives on the green corridor and providing support at the show house, which further demonstrates their commitment to a sustainable environment and the success of our projects.
The community’s involvement is crucial to Green Heart of Kenya’s decision-making process. We remain dedicated to supporting community members and ensuring that their needs are met in the best way we can. Our organization serves as an inspiring example of what can be achieved when a community comes together to support one another.
